to a specific collector for counter-stamps perhaps, but most collectors would consider that a damaged coin. Here is one of mine:

I have seen a few of these of different sorts. I save what I can find for my exonumia collection. However, I do not place a high value on any of them, since anyone can make a stamp and hammer it on the coin.
