Just doing a little "Self reflecting" today.
It seems to me with online forums like this, that people wil form a perception about other members based on what and how they post.
With the Avatar being one of the first things people see.
What are some of your thoughts ...
Do you pick your avatar, to make a certain statement?
Do you see someone else's Avatar, and think of them fitting into a certain group?

Avatar's are a way of expressing yourself to others. my Avatar is a custom made job; yes it's possible to do that on CCF . It reflects part of my youth and high school days . Yes , ''those oldie's but goodies '' .

I just liked the awesome toning on mine as well as the subject matter... a nuclear mushroom cloud behind broken barbed wire with the word HOPE underneath. Click on my signature below for a thread about the coin... Although I've been toying with changing it to a pic of my favorite cherrypicked VAM so be on the lookout if I do. Kinda looks like this emoji -->

IMO an avatar should depict the posters personality.

I collect colonial coins, and thought this was a neat one to post.

I wanted a British coin that nobody else was using as an avatar, and I chose this 'threepenny bit' because it's dated the year of my birth, it's one of my favorite coin designs and it's a type of coin that I remember with affection from my childhood.

Shadow Snatcher is one of my parrots, I love these guys even more than the coins so it was an easy choice.

I liked the NORFED gold coins when I saw them - also liked what NORFED was trying to do - and in my area it was working - these silver rounds were used as money around here. Plus I think the design is one of the best as it reminds me of classic designs.
