However, just to excite you all, I've made my very first physical trip to a coin shop up in Hobart (for my fellow Hoosier collectors). My purchases were a Citizen's Bank of Louisiana Confederate Five Dollar Note (from 1861 I believe) in New Orleans. The bill is in pretty good shape all things considered. Just a few wrinkles and a single tear along the border. My other purchase was a New York 1837 Hard Times Token for a Shoe shop. This has peaked my interest in the currency collecting business. The pictures will hopefully be up sometime today when I've got the opportunity to get them. * Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. * Report this Post to the Staff
