Here is an 1883H 5 cent silver with a very unusual (to me) die anomaly .

Could I get a few opinions as to what has taken place around that "A" in Gratia. Is it only Die Deterioration..?

There is also a d/c and partial fill in the "N" in Regina noted.

Thanks all...!!

Going out on a limb or serif in this case, probably rusted die damage.

I have/had a few tokens that have this look as well and I thought it was rust on the dies...
