We have bins of scrap world mixed money (very low value) 10cents if not 1 cent each, the better values and coins go into our auctions Of coarse I collect Canada and USA cents and this is the first find of major value(in the bin). I have found minor varieties before(in the bin)( same lot 1925s RPM-002) Same old story you need to know what you are looking for and I don't save gold or silver so I pick up the copper. mdrosophila Pillar of the Community United States 724 Posts	Posted 04/10/2016 9:18 pm There are still many green copper verdigris under the neck. This is likely caused by environmental exposure of this area to acetic acid. The previous owner is not experienced enough to preserve it. Rather he cleaned it using very harsh wiping, possibly using a metal brush. They should use verdi-care. I heard that people have a lot of success with this. Contact badthad. For this coin, it may have already damaged and thus is not worthy preserving it any further. I will not throw good money after bad. Report this Post to the Staff
