recently found a decent lot of silver coins, I'm kinda new to collecting but I no none of them are worth much. I got them appraised and they said they'd give me 7.5x face value, is that good?
Also, sacagewa gold coins, worth any more than a dollar?

Welcome to the forum! It depends on how many of the coins are 90% versus 40% silver. If they're all 90% the 7.5x face sounds a little low. Currently melt value is over 10x. The Sacagawea golden dollars are, for the most part, only worth a dollar. If they're proof or if they have an error, they might be worth a premium. Check here for more specific price info: http://www.numismedia.com/fmv/fmv.shtml

Some of the silver coins if in good condition could be worth much more then melt value. But we would need to see descriptions...but pictures are the best 7.5x face is actually a terrible price. I'd Love to buy it for that but would never never sell it for that little. Proof and UNC Sacs are worth more but normal circulation ones would command a premium edit: I need to learn to type more gooder & fastly

ok, how could I tell if there 90% versus 40%, there just morgan, peace, kennedy, and Franklin half and dollar pieces mostly. Also, the guy said one of my kennedy's was a clad or something so it was worth more, he'd say he'd give me $1.25 for it.

Morgan, Peace, Franklin = 90% Kennedy 1964 = 90% Kennedy 1965-1970 = 40% all quarters 1964 and earlier = 90% all dimes 1964 and earlier = 90%
He wanted to buy Morgans from you for $7.50 each I'd steer clear of that guy and Never go back to him

My coin club pays 12X face for 90% silver and keeps 10% as a fund raiser...

Yeah those are terrible prices. I know a dealer at the local coin show was paying 10x face a month ago, and that's when silver was around $15.75/ounce. It was over $17 last I checked so 7.5x face is horrible, and I hate to say it but it sounds like the guy tried to rip you off.
As far as Morgans, the local coin shop here buys them at $10 each if 1921, and $12 each if before 1921 and VG condition or better.
