Hello we'd need to know the condition of the coins and the mintmarks...if any pictures are the best way. but there are a few things you need to know first -never touch the coins and if you must...hold them by the edges -never ever clean them. any possible value would be ended -welcome to the forum

Just to give you an idea and assuming they are all real and not cleaned in any way
1840 - $550 in XF to $$3300 in MS
see if you can get good clear pictures of the lowest date coins so we can check em out. if you can't get a clear enough picture try and scan them if you can

Hello Leusin, It appears you have three types of dollar coins. The ones with the large head on the front are Morgan dollars, minted from 1878 to 1921. The ones with the seated woman holding a pole are Seated Liberty dollars, minted from 1840 to 1873. The one with a seated woman holding out an olive branch is a Trade dollar, minted from 1873 to 1885. Many common dates of Morgan dollars exist and are valued at about $15 and up. The first 7 coins on your date list are probably common Morgans. We would have to see detailed large photos of both sides to estimate whether they are possibly more valuable. The seated and Trade dollars have been widely counterfeited, especially by Chinese scam artists. You may have genuine coins, but they need to be authenticated by an expert. Your Trade dollar appears to be dated 1885. If so, it is almost certainly a fake. There were only 5 genuine 1885 Trade dollars made and they sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Please get us some better photos if you can. I would strongly suggest you locate an honest coin dealer in your area and ask for their evaluation. Don't accept his first offer if he wants to buy them. If your Seated dollars are genuine, they would each sell in the USA for several hundred dollars, at least.

A bunch of what I am seeing appear to be fakes. Better pictures are a must, but I'm not holding my breath. Especially on the seated and Trade dollars.

1885 Trade dollar was only struck as proofs with a population of 5. Your photo does not show a proof surface, so it's probably a cast counterfeit. The problem now is that there are probably other counterfeits in that collection too. Those are not only worthless but may get you a visit from the US Secret Service if you plan to sell them as real.

if the 1885 is really counterfit, then it may not be worthless, its still worth its intrinsic melt value:)

Most of those type counterfeits are made of base metal and their intrinsic or melt value is a few cents.

That type of coin holder always reminds me of Chinese coins that are sold in a binder/book. Usually they are placed into pages like those, although, they can be different.
Plus kind of suspicious that after giving him the value of the Seated Liberty, he never posted back... but I am highly speculating here. Sorry if I do offend, but those coins do look too clean and new.
