I see doubling in the date, especially the 4. And sorry the pictures are so bad!

I know my pictures are horrible sorry, I only have an iPhone to work with. Take a close look at the 4 in the date if you can. I don't really know what I see either, it just looked "off" to me.

From what I can see it looks like the end of the crossbar of the 4 was damaged. A closer view might show more. On coppercoins there is a die that is listed with a mark above the 4 and lower than the 'L' on LIBERTY:

And on. So better images of your coin might show us more. But I wanted to help you appreciate that there is some with hub doubling on those areas.
