Looks similar to the kind of thing I have (which was cheaper but this one the stand seems better than mine which uses a series of ball joints...doesn't sit steady or completely vertical.)

If mine is anything to go by its a useful tool for close ups of things like mint marks but doesn't zoom out far enough to photo a full coin except in the very smallest of cases (something like a dime)

20x is to high. You need as low as possible like 5x or less and under 200x.My cheap AmScope has a similar stand and it's not that great. My Celestron has the ball joint type and I find it's a bit better then my AmScope but still not all that good.

I had one similar (2 MP, 8 LEDs, 20-200X) that was fun to use for awhile, but eventually I became dissatisfied with the quality of the images and the limitations of the field-of-view. Went to the "Under $400" system described in other thread on this forum and haven't looked back.

Mines a 10-150X and it does pretty much everything I need. Takes up a very small space and I just plug it in to the computer, pretty easy......

That's what I am looking for. What kind is it? Did it come with stand? Best place to pick one up on net? Thanks.

Mines a Celestron but it doesn't have adjustable led lights. You need to find one with that. The stand is a Lighthouse stand I bought separately.

Mine is the same as 52Raymo but I have the original stand. I had to cap off all but one bulb and filter that one.
