I've been away for awhile, but I've still been working on a type set as time allows. I've become a little more comfortable picking raw coins that I think would receive a straight grade (no details) and I am interested to see what comments the community has about a few recent acquisitions. I'll do a new topic for each coin (since I think that is the preferred method--someone please correct me if not)

Thanks for looking!
-Chris

I'd go F12 here and it looks pretty darn nice with F15 possible.

Thanks for the replies. At least I am 1 for 3 on picking coins with original surfaces! This really did strike me as a nice coin: something about the overall toning, lack of any large marks, and perfect rim give it high eye appeal even though the grade is on the low side.

F-12 at best here, but certainly an appealing example!
