Serious air bubble issue, but there is some possible notching on the bottom of the D? I couldn't find a variety that matches. Comments welcome

There does appear to be a lower split serif and a secondary vertical bar. It is hard to tell though with the gas bubble and hit on the top of the MM. Wait for coop to chime in before you make any final decisions.

Also how do you take those photos, they look great!

Thanks CRHer! I use a macro lens and a Canon dslr. I also batch edit in photoshop. I'm used to taking photos of my jewelry to post on my website. I still struggle with close ups of coins!

Note the top loop on the mint mark? Note the coin striation lines there. That tells me the coin suffered some machine damage after the strike. This affected the lower mint mark area and note the mark and metal striations on the lower loop. There is also an issue with split plating under the mint mark. Note the rim is also showing split plating or coin contact that split the plating on the top edge of the rim. This coin is kind of the worse of about everything. Looks like split plating under the bust. Rough surface on the plating that is there as well.
