Yes- there are areas above liberty and above the date that look like they are raised. I did put the coin in a flip. (didn't toss it). I'll soak it in acetone while I'm at work today and if things look good, I'll try and post a couple a couple more detailed images. Report this Post to the Staff

I may be using my imagination too much ( ) but it almost appears to be the tops of the letters in LIBERTY struck once and then moved over slightly and struck again. Report this Post to the Staff
