Part of today's silver haul. This "round" (pun intended?) features you & me vs. 1897 & 1897-S Morgan dollars. Me: 1897 ( VAM 1) - MS62, 1897-S ( VAM 4) - AU55 CCF: ? The 97 has great luster & no hairlines or indications of dipping -- photos make it look a bit off because the luster is VERY strong.

Agree with 97: MS-62, and 97-S: AU-55, possibly details. Are those cleaning lines above the head on the 97-S?

The 97-S has some light scratches above the head but the remainder of the fields are clean.

Both are nice Morgans but look like they have seen some handling. I will say AU-58 for both.
