Good eye purelywasted! At a glance it looks like a legitimate photo, although I have no means to zoom in to the pixels. But looking closely I notice that comparing the sharpness of the wood-grained background, several corners of the holders are blurry. The coins appear either oddly out of focus or worn, certainly not the gem quality of high MS. The shadowing of some to the right, others no shadow, is also questionable, plus the total fuzziness of the PCGS hologram. Once again the only feature that stands out is the grading label, nothing of the actual coin quality. Sure sign of a scam. That and the potential inability to accept PayPal, whereby funds would ordinarily be held from the buyer until the purchaser has the order in hand. It's possible that the successful bidder of this perceived windfall would be so elated that they'd agree to transfer the money by some other means and the seller would vanish. One other sign of a scam that is very common to is the reason for selling - (in French) the seller is home bound with a serious illness. The world has gotten to be a very small place, that a major NA dealer wouldn't jump at the opportunity to fly to France if invited to buy this extraordinary collection, instead it's hawked at low price on ebay, nah because the only thing the seller has in hand is grainy photos and photoshop equipment.

AD HAS BEEN DELETED YAYYYYYYY! Thank you again bobby131313
I hope sellers like this have their accounts banned and deleted. This is intentional and elaborate scamming.
And Thank You GregJG for noticing and questioning the ebay ad! It's very educational for everyone here to observe the great lengths that scammers will go to.

The two top slabs also have shadows going right (from what looks like natural light), while the bottom two don't. I think that light is way too strong to not yield a shadow on those two considering how consistent it is coming from the left edge of the photo.
I'm glad to see the post has come off. Good work guys :)

My pleasure. Maybe in the far future there will be video verification of ads... much harder for the average person to fake.

A sold item from April 13, stamp collection, US$7100, says "while my accounts were hacked" in the description, and how they now cannot take paypal. Seems a safe bet that their account is still hacked. It seems odd that when you click the seller and then items for sale, this lot does not appear..
kbbpll, the reason you couldn't see the ad may be due to the seller not selecting shipping of that particular listing to the US. I noticed the stamp collection was also relisted. Interesting to notice the active bidders on the initial lot at the higher price range then totally disappeared the second time around. The "successful bidder" had a star rating of only "5". Makes one go hmmm....... Seller lion6774 USA Stamp Collection 1847 - 1940 182065350721 March 31, 2016 sold for $18,300 US Relisted 182083013646 April 13, 2016 sold for $7,100 US
