I have two coins that I'd like to send to NGC to have them reholdered. One is a U.S. coin in an older slab with the part of the reverse label missing. The other is a British Penny in a slab that is chipped and cracked on the bottom.

My question is: Do I need to submit two different forms and pay two $8 processing fees since one is a U.S. coin and the other British, or, if I'm just having them put in new holders, can I submit both coins on the same form?

Does anyone know the answer?

Thanks.

Best thing to do is give NGC a call. They have a reputation for good customer service and I'm sure they can answer your question immediately. (And do make that a call, none of the TPG's have a good reputation for replying to emails.) Plus you're getting you answer straight from the horses mouth. Having said that I would think since they are just being reholdered they can probably go on the same form.

Just my opinion, but I don't think the old holder with part of the reverse label missing should be a problem, unless it bothers you visually. Depending how old you mean by "old holder," that issue is actually pretty common and often ignored. And also, the older holder might make it more desirable to some, again, depending what you mean by old.

To each his own. I once had a holder that was kind of damaged and a dealer said I shouldn't worry about it but I reholdered it anyway because I knew I would probably keep it for a while.

There are people that will not buy a coin with a damaged logo. $10 and you can get it reholdered. It will increase its saleability.

Unlike the grading tiers, "Grading Services" does not have different prices for US and World coins. https://www.NGCcoin.com/submit/services-fees/
I would assume this means they can be submitted on the same form, seeing as they would be doing the same action regardless whether it is a US or World coin. If you want to be certain, the best answer would come from NGC themselves. Their customer service is very fast and helpful, whether contacting by phone or email (or contact form submission from their website)

Here is the contact form page if you would like: https://www.NGCcoin.com/contact-us.aspx

Thanks for the responses. When I'm ready to send in a batch of coins I'll give NGC a call and see what they say.
