More rescues form the "bargain" bin. Actually, I don't see too much of such material tossed aside, even though they're actually pretty low value coins. And when I do see them, they're generally terribly beaten up and/or worn. Both in his pair, while grungy, are better than the norm by far.
The first (to the left) is a Japanese 1 Sen. I read this as being from the 19th year of the Meiji reign, which I believe dates it to 1885/6.
The other is a Republic of China 1 Cent (10 Cash) from Kwang-Tung (Guangdong) Province which would seem to have been struck in 1914.
