This coin is available for just $45, way below market price, and I'm considering it. But it seems a bit too good to be true at this price. Does it look to have any cleaning or alterations that account for the unusually low price, or is this a good deal?

The lighting could be deceiving, but to me it looks cleaned.

It looks cleaned to me. I pretty sure I can tell from the pic who the seller is, and most of his IHC and FE appear to be cleaned
Rest in Peace

I disagree with "way below market price". This is a very common date and high grade examples can be easily found.

Just one example for comparison:

I would recommend shopping around more.

Good thing I put my feelers out on this one. This seller does look rather suspicious, considering most of their coins look similar. No grade given. Thanks for the input

Mike1487 is right. Even straight-graded this coin is not a gimme at $45.

What did you grade it at? It is in the mid/upper VF level. It might be cleaned, but the seller is using too much light is his pictures.

To bad it's cleaned so much. Otherwise a sort of nice looking coin.

This seller has tons of cleaned coins with modified lighting to look ok. Also has horrible low resolution pics, and two combined into one, to hide flaws.
Rest in Peace
