D Cooke New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 06/04/2016 4:50 pm Hello Coin Community I'm David, in Virginia and my interest in coins has grown tremendously over the last couple of years. I'm into history and it is the history of rare and collectible coins that fuels my interests. As an artist of sorts I also enjoy the artistic qualities of coins. A few years ago my wife bought me a metal detector and the desire to find old and forgotten places sparked a forgotten passion for history and would be the beginning of my collecting. Since then I have done a lot of coin related research but my best coins have been purchases because I'm better at buying than detecting I guess!! Report this Post to the Staff

I'm guessing the welcome icon with smiley faces is the equivalent of an apple pie that the community organization (neighbors) might have bought to the new neighbor in forgotten times, I like it!
