Quote: I am wondering if Jbuck is correct with the mintage being at 125,000 instead of 12,500. There no limit set for mintage. The 12,500 limit is for each product only (UH9 & 10). As previously noted more could be included in another set. A two medal set with both mints pieces included would make sense.

I would prefer a two medal set, but I am not going to take that chance and miss out completely.

The two medal idea would have been a good idea but that has passed. I think the only way (if at all) that these medals will appear again is in some sort of fancy schmancy set like the Limited edition PF set or with jsut the PF ASE... But....since it was such a PIA to get the PF and MS ASE out the door I don't believe that this will find its way into an unannounced set with them...too late in the year.

Good points. I will stick to Plan A, two medals on the 23rd.

here we go again another mint failure, I don't understand the low mintage 12,500 each limit 2 per HH just utter madness in the making. I recall the sept 11th medal hitting like almost 200K mintage! why do I have a weird feeling this medal will go for 200 a pop after all is said and done? oh yea cause everything the mint does is just lunacy good luck to everyone tomorrow hopefully everyone gets one!!

The limit of 12,500 is for the products only with these medals being eligible for inclusion in future products, possibly even next year. People are assuming the product limit will be the mintage limit but there is no way to know.
