Hi Sandy - looks Die Deterioration with MD to me. The doubling on these coins and dimes will have a double hump rather than the sloping shelf. Wait for the experts to chime in though before tossing the coin.

The nose distortion is from die over polishing. (abrasion to remove a clash) Not Die Deterioration. The difference?

Die Deterioration is gradual and automatically happens. (we notice this more on the single squeeze dies)

Die polishing (abrasion) is done on purpose to alter a die to remove something un-desirable (intentional) from the die.
