What you have here is two separate die cracks. If these two were connected it would bring a small premium. Coins with die cracks going from rim to rim are collectable. Still you have two large die cracks and still a cool coin.

Hard to tell with the circulation wear, but it maybe a rim to rim crack. Thanks, Doug.

I'm not sure if those are die polish lines or hairline scratches, maybe the OP can answer that. Also, to answer the original question. Value wise, as you probably know this, but it is 35% silver so yes a keeper for that. I like the die cracks but they don't bring much premium.

Awfully close to a bisecting crack - just doesn't show for a short distance starting at the bottom step. Agree cleaned.

Nice nice die cracks. Both look "whizzed" to me.

Neat coin! This looks a lot (but not quite) like the default image you see when you open the CCF image optimizer.

You might check ebay for what they have been selling for with the crack across the full side. Save a few auctions that are similar and see what they sold for. When you get over 5 completed, then average out the finial price. that will geive you a better idea of the going rate. (keep in mind that yours is silver. that also should be considered rather than normal nickels)
