OH so that is where I left them.
Might not be a kid that spent them but a home coin robbery and the criminals just spent the coins as coins.

It was a shotgun, so I thought I only had two conveniently placed Buffalos that I saw at the ends. Then I opened it and saw that they were all Buffalos, with a load of key dates. IDK how a person could wrap a shotgun roll, unless they went to the bank and told them to roll it, but I doubt it was luck that 40 full date Buffalos ended up in a roll. Hmmm...

Nice find chaos!
Most likely from a collector (or former collector) :-)

Another possibility -- a bank teller who had been stashing Buffalos away accidently grabbed the wrong roll. Or a fellow co-worker accidently grabbed it and placed it in the drawer.

Wow the 1916 DDO worth $2,400 in good along with two 1937-D 3L's worth $550/piece was in a bank roll!?! . Not to mention all the other key dates that were in that roll.
