I searched Coppercoins and VarietyVista, and neither have any 1988D DDR listed. I can't tell if this is a DDR or if it is wear? Help is appreciated!

To me it looks like a typical Struck Through Grease.

Keep in mint the opposite side of your coin has a lot of metal movement during the strike. This often leads to this area to show devices that are not struck up. Because the coins devices were not struck up fully, the "E P" will be weak because of this happening. The bottom of the 'P' on PLURIBUS may be damaged. Note how it is not straight. Just a common event. Spendable.
