hey guys, do any of you have any idea what these nickels are? Looks like the first one has a die crack, and both of them have weird wobbly letters and numbers. Can you tell me what these are with pro words and pro advices? Thanks.

Not an error and it does not add any value because it happened to the coin after it left the mint.

Nice image earle42.

The coin looks beyond normal circulation wear. The devices may have been pressed in some matter to make the devices look wider. But I wouldn't rule out a Dryer Coin. Lets just call it PSD. We all can agree with that. It was altered from what it look like when they were struck. No premium for these. Just pocket change that can go back to work.

Kind of looks like Freddy got a hold on them?

The second coin is just severe die wear/deterioration. They really used the dies too long in 1982 and 83.

The sad part about the 1982 and 83 coins is that they didn't have mint sets those years. So any nice coins for a collection would have to be bought from BU stock or find the nicest in circulation. So keep the 1982-83 larger denominations in BU condition. They will increase in value with time. (cents.. There are plenty of these already saved) Five cents and upward.
