When I first looked at it,I figured lamination w/ a die crack. Then my imagination started running wild. (Strike through with a retained brake.) Decided to post and get the opinions of experts. Thank you for your input.
I think you got it right the first time -- lamination and die crack. But then -- not an expert -- I had to look up 'strike through with retained brake'.
Obverse at 2:00 looks like coin damage to the rim. The lamination is different looking. The die break has not reached the 'retained Die Cud status yet. (but getting there.) 19,950 Starting the 50 countdown to 20,000
