So I purchased this. 262476145051 I thought I got a good deal. I didn't even make the best offer, I paid the full asking price. Not too bad of a deal right? Wellllll... It came in today and here is what I got: What a fantastic purchase!! I've opened up a case on PayPal

Also on the odd side, he is listing a 1928 25 cent piece ICCS graded F12 that is not slabbed...

I contacted the seller with no response. It makes me sick to think of sellers out there that do this.

Seller is likely just looking up sold auctions then clicking "sell one like this" without a clue. At least you'll get your money back.

This is a good example of a seller with almost no feedback. They have only sold one coin for $4.00...
Please leave negative feedback Sellers like this should never have 100% feedback...
Thank you for letting us know about this individual

Quote: Seller is likely just looking up sold auctions then clicking "sell one like this" without a clue. I don't buy this at all. With the low sell count to the auction for that ICCS F12 1928 25 cent piece in a 2x2. To the perfect profile picture. This whole thing stinks of fraud.

And when you click sell one like this, the pictures don't come with the auction info, so this was intentional.
Sometimes when you sell electronics or something, a stock photo will be attached, but clearly labelled "stock photo"

This is just terrible...
At best this is a REALLY bad mistake... at worst case someone's morality can be bought for under $50 bucks!
Hope it works out for you....

One wouldn't think any seller would scam on ebay with all the buyer protection in place, maybe just an honest error hopefully.

On ebay its much better to be pessimistic not optimistic. Better not to get in such situations, than have to go through buyer protection

Quote: Seller is likely just looking up sold auctions then clicking "sell one like this" without a clue. Perhaps the seller isn't a coin collector at all. Just thinks he's got the "coin" itself, but doesn't know anything about grades. Still, a very terrible thing to do. It's the seller's responsibility to learn about this stuff before listing.

Straight-up crook, who apparently has a 'passion for antiques'. although never bought nor sold such. Hell, even the pic's stolen, found after a Goog image search.
