Just found this cent in our yard at the side of our house, not even underground. It's rather disgraceful that our currency has achieved this level of quality. This coin won't even lay flat for a photo.

US coins are just as bad or worse. It's shameful, in my opinion.

Future generations of those who metal detect will be in for disappointment, bunch of rusty old steel. Sadly it's a statement about the state of manufacturing, quality and consumers. Nothing is built to last ....it's a throw away and replace society that has sadly emerged.
