I found this coin in a bank roll, but I can't tell if it is a straight clipped planchet or PMD. I don't see any evidence of the Blakesley effect. Thoughts appreciated!

Appears to be post-strike damage( PSD). There is no metal flow / weakness around the clip, nor does the edge show the "punch & tear" pattern typical of a genuine clip.

Thanks, everyone. The ridge lines at the edge of the clip (visible in the first photo) puzzle me.

I would like to see the edge of the clipped area better.

It doesn't look like it tapers correctly. But I do see weakness on the 'T' on the reverse though.

Two bad signs.
1. Note the mark on the edge of the clipped area? They are cut in a downward slice. Not at a cross angle like you coin is showing on the edge.

2. Note the rim on both sides. If the rim were there, it would be rounded and not flat looking.

It looks like it was bent inwards toward the center of the coin. Definitely PSD. Not a mint error. Thanks for the extra images.
