I found this 1946 dime in a penny roll. Can anyone help identify the images? To me it looks like either wheat or feathers and perhaps some lettering on the obverse.

I just see contact coin wear on the higher devices. This is common. The color tells me it spend some time outdoors. It is possible that the coin may have made contact with another coin, but this would be damage. Removing the value of the coin. remember a contact mark is incuse. Hub doubling will be raised and the devices will be enlarged. (not seeing either on your coin) But it is a silver dime, always worth melt.
