Hello,

First time poster, child hood collector who just recently opened up an old box and picked it back up again.

I have an 1898 Indian Head, has a die stamp(?) above the head dress, doubling around the UNITED and the top left denticles. Theres traces of the date that appear to be offset as well with some damage to the center of the numbers. The reverse has some doubling above the ribbon and the tops of the arrow shafts.

At least, that's what I think of seeing. I don't see any record of this on the sites I've checked.

Sorry for the quality, or lack there of.

Hard to tell from images provided? Looks like a couple of things, but can't say for sure.

Looks pretty interesting. We need full images of both sides of the coin to determine exactly what is going on.
