SteveInTampa Pillar of the Community United States 4637 Posts	Posted 07/14/2016 07:26 am I have Fred Bart's latest Paper Money Error Guide and was unable to find another example comparable to yours with a partial 3rd print (missing seal & serial numbers). There are examples with the entire 3rd print missing, but not one with only the green ink missing. I'm not saying it's impossible....but I've never seen a legitimate one before. Broken-Coin Pillar of the Community United States 1812 Posts	Posted 07/14/2016 4:17 pm While your note looks like it had run out of green ink, I found 3 current listings on the Bay under the "Auction" listings (I stopped viewing the Buy it Now & Store listings as many believe they found a winning lottery ticket with their asking prices) , 2 with missing green ink & 1 with missing black ink.. I didn't get to examine them closely for signs of partial imprints, and will post them later when I'm on my laptop.. Report this Post to the Staff
yontan Valued Member United States 292 Posts	Posted 07/14/2016 8:04 pm Well, I have the paper money books, too, but as you say, they only deal with entire 3rd. printing omissions. I guess my point is that to remove one color ink overprinted on another color, (green seal over twenty), any chemical used would certainly affect both inks......color aside, ink is ink.
