Thankfully, no, because the last few years I have been limited to two coins shows a year and whatever I can get from the Mint.

Yes, it is an addiction, but your could go to my LCS and buy 1 cent coins-they cost 5 cents each. So that is not a big problem!

I overpaid for a RI commemorative half dollar for my 7070 just to scratch the itch this week... By overpay it was at a store that charges tax, I think I could have gotten similar minus the tax online... But 30-40 minutes of perusing inventory in person seems worth the difference

No crime in paying a little extra to get it in your hands sooner.

Or to avoid my wife hiding the package from me until I ask if it's arrived.... Or she'll give it to me in front of the kids, so they'll want it for their piggy banks.

You have a disease: It's called
Numistmatitis

No cure, but relief from the symptoms is available:
Take at least two coins per week, but DO NOT swallow them!
Rest in Peace

CCF is therapy for me. Before I joined I was somewhat crazed, buying coins at the LCS, ebay, Stacks, etc to fulfill an unquenchable desire. I was a beast. Since then, I'm happily throttled. I still buy, but rarely and with a more discerning eye. My family and I thank you, CCF!
