As asked for , here are three more real close ups of the scratch. One at the R, another as passing between the 1 and 9, and the last going to the bottom rim.

Just looks like a large linear plating bubble.

I would like to see if the line flows the length of the coin or not? So a full face coin image would be great.

Yontan, you should use only one post per coin. That way we'd have all the pics in one place.

Good job! Looks like it goes to the bottom rim and real close at the top.

Sorry about the mixup. Coop, you saw the original posting (full length pictures) and asked for specific close up pictures. The next morning I tried to comply by posting new pics, but received the message "after 24 hours I could not edit". So I re-posted, alluding to the original post. If, after 24 hours, there is a way to post new pics, how is that done?

after 24 hours you can't edit posts, but you could have replied and posted them at that time

OK. After seeing the lines don't flow over the devices, it looks like a die scratch on the fields. (if someone slid the die across a rough surface, it would leave a scratch across the field, the deeper devices would not be affected) So I'm thinking it is a die scratch with the lint to the other images.

OK. All good info, and again, thank you! Also, I'm in Hawaii, and sometimes (with a three, six, or even 12 hour time difference) it can be difficult to add to a post. It does create a problem I will try to work around. Sometimes your posts come in between 11 p.m. my time and 0430 my time. Sleepy time! Bill.
