Paul Bulgerin Pillar of the Community United States 3098 Posts	Posted 07/26/2016 9:01 pm I got into a bidding war over this wonderfully toned 1916 Austrian silver Corona. As the bids went higher and higher and time was running out on the auction I said to myself, "I know I'm paying way too much for it, but I will kick myself in the future if I don't win it." I ended up paying $44 for a coin that lists for around $12-15, but now that I have it in my hands I couldn't be happier with the amazing toning. Paul Bulgerin Report this Post to the Staff

I wish it happened to me more often when I'm selling them. Before coming across this coin I'd just watched a YouTube video on the amazing prices some toned coins bring and that made me feel better about what I bid . . . not that I'm ever going to sell this beauty. As an aside, I think there is a lot of 'meh' foreign silver out there, and when a beauty comes along, snap it up.
