IndianDoll New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 07/30/2016 02:47 am so I have been saving pennies for some months now and I decided to go through them since I have a decent amount and see what I could find. I did find a few that interest me but so far this one is my best find out of the bunch. What is the quality of this gorgeous penny? and is it a keeper for a nice penny collection? That is a pretty good find - it really sticks out and makes you wonder how many times it's been passed in the last 115 years. That's the thing for me: history. While I'm always looking for an upgrade in my specific collections, circulated coins like this one remind me of what coins are all about, passing from one hand to the next through (often) a lot of time. I had no idea and the link will be of some good use. Still researching and learning. Never knew I had a interest in the finds and searches until now. I was just saving penny's. It has prices for all US coins of all denominations, going back to Colonial times. It will give you an idea of what your finds are worth, and it can also help you to know what dates are special and should be looked for. Report this Post to the Staff

Is there any worth? Is it a keeper? Are you asking if you should put it back into circulation? That would be no. It does have value. For the grade it is a nice looking coin. I think the grade would be in the G4 to VG 8 range. In this grade they sell in the $1.00 range. A coin dealer might give you .25 cents. Report this Post to the Staff
