Here they are. All are silver coins. Yes the Domitian and Titus are reversed regarding chronological position. From left to right and top to bottom (Julius Caesar, Augustus, Tiberius, Caligula, Claudius, Nero, Galba, Otho, Vitellius, Domitian, Vespasian, and Titus). Edited by orfew 08/06/2016 12:59 am

Congrats, Orfew! I've been following your progress on this for more than a year. Nice going. So how do you top this? What's going to be the next collecting challenge?

Thanks very much Bob. I have 2 projects in mind at the moment. The first is a set of characters related to the assassination of Julius Caesar, that is figures from imperatorial Rome. This would mean coins of Cassius, Brutus, Octavian, and Marc Antony. I already have 4 coins of Antony and these might also become a collection.
The second idea is to build a collection of coins featuring figures from Shakespeare's plays. I am a fan of Shakespeare and thought this might be interesting. This collection would include coins of Henry !V, Henry V, King John, Henry VIII, Marc Antony,Julius Caesar, Cleopatra, Richard III and perhaps others.
Any way I am continuing to have a lot of fun with this and I once again thank you for your comments.

Wow!
This set is on my bucket list, but it will be a while before I am confident enough to make a smart purchase with the extra tough ones. I am currently growing a set of every emperor I can reasonably and semi-cheaply get... admittedly most are in bronze and I am probably going to have to start from scratch to get acceptable portraits of the Caesars.
At any rate, congratulations!

Wow, great work @orfew! That is impressive. Also, I realize that you aren't asking for our opinions as to where to go from here, but the Shakespeare collection sounds like a really cool twist to me.

This is the holy grail for many collectors and is a real achievement. Not something I would undertake (I don't find the coins particularly appealing given the expense involved - I favour Greek silver) but you've done a great job there. I wish you success with your future projects.

Quote: I am a fan of Shakespeare... Orfew, did you happen to read the July/August issue of Archaeology magazine? It has a short but interesting article about excavation work at Shakespeare's house at Stratford-upon-Avon.
