I'm not sure what was holding this die together, but very happy to find it. What do you think?

Nice. The die couldn't have had much life left in it.

A keeper when they go coast to coast across the die. The die is very soon to be retired. You might check on cuds-on-coins and see if they have a Cud for this die yet. You might have a pre Cud example to show the die breakdown?

I just looked, this one is not there as a Cud or a Bisecting rim to rim. As vigilant as JC is, it probably will be though. That is at a reasonable hour tomorrow. lol I saw one awesome 1996 nickel Bisecting rim to rim on there it was almost across the center of the coin. As nice as this one is, it would pale next to the 96.

The die may have been retired early then or we just haven't had one attributed yet. He may want to save these images for his files.

Very cool! Thanks Coop. Thanks all. It's coins like this one that keeps us going. What's the odds, you're going through a roll, and this one pops out? It's hard to describe the feeling, but I believe just about everyone on here has felt it.
