Thank you guys!
I was afraid that I would have ended up with a fake key date, but turns out I got a real key date for just above melt!

UPDATE!
I went to the pawn shop again today because I remember seeing a bunch of '30s Washingtons and I asked to see them again. I found a '32-S! For $4.50!

Bring on the dancing fruit!

Your find deserves an encore!

If I found something like that I'd probably have a #2 accident in the shop and they would probably have a poster on the wall "CALZONEMANIAC IS NOT ALLOWED IN THIS SHOP"

Good move .....

Nice coin for the price .... The 32S

Now tell us .... How did you miss it on the first trip

Did you check for the other hard dates?

Many of the early mint mark coins are harder to find,
more so in better grades.
I would be looking for, if are better grades. XF or better
would make me grab these.

It was buried under a pile of 64's

And yeah I've thought about asking to look at their Mercury dimes. Who knows? Maybe I'll find a 16-D

I found a 37-S and grabbed it immediately that day I found the 32-S. I remembered that one had very low mintages. The other ones you mentioned I haven't looked for yet, but considering that I found the two '32 key dates, I can safely assume they're in that bin.
I only reported the 32-S because that was by far my biggest find.

CrazyCat ... I hope what I posted .. Was not taken negative.

I think it is really great your finding some good dates.

I mentioned some other dates that can be hard to find,
just in case you might plan on putting together a set.

Finding a pair, 32D and 32S, for common priced silver is
not something that will happen every day.

No problem GR58, I didn't take it negatively.
I just wanted you to know I didn't think of watching for many of those other dates

And yes, I'm putting together a set of silver Washingtons. I got the 2 corresponding Whitman folders and am working on filling them up

While you're at it, look at those Standing Liberties. You may find a 1916
