So I had gotten $60 for my birthday earlier today and I decided to get some silver Washington quarters for my collections and one of the coins I got was a 1932-D! I got it for $4.25 and I want some opinions on whether it might be real and if so, what the value might be. It sounds just like a silver coin when I drop it. I haven't weighted it because my scale ran out of batteries. I have some pictures here so you can look at it. Here's the rest of the coins I got for the curious. They were all $4.25 each (1916-D Barber, 1934-D, 1938, 1940-S ,1941, 1941-S, 1957-D, 1958-D, 1959 PF, 1963 PF, 1964 PF) All along with the 32-D cost me $51

Here is an old thread with a fake side by side with a real 1932-D. Further in that thread is a fake someone else had returned from a TPG, yet it looks good in the pics. I have to wonder if that better fake is not something made before the Chinese started making so many? https://goccf.com/t/136142When I took the pics of my fake, I deliberately put the "coin" in direct sunlight so the porousness would show up. In hand it looks very real. I think the poor rim on my fake gives it away also. The pics of yours make me think its real and was a great pickup.

I do not like making the call without coin in hand, but it looks good. I think someone accidentally let that one get into the junk bin.

Very nice birthday gift right there! Awesome find! Reminds me of when I found an 1895-S Morgan in the junk bin sometimes they just don't seem to notice.
