Thanks for the correction Doug, always good to learn. So then the force of the dies hitting together caused the one to crack.
Another great one coop - do you actually come across many of these? I just get the circulated rolls from the bank; so because of their condition, I am sure that I miss ones that I might have caught if they were in BU condition.

Not a whole lot of the double clashes. Regular clashes are pretty common to find. The doubled clashes might be the hop the die experience from slamming together with out a cushion planchet between them, or they might be two different clashes where one die may have moved a bit after a previous clash?
