I saw this coin on ebay it has a 0.99 cent starting bid and the title never mentions what kind of coin it is. I need it for my album so I'm looking for opinions on the grade and value. *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

Looks AU but the color is off. Believe it or not, the Chinese are faking these too....it could be one.

Took about a 1/2 minute to find an SVDB for $5.71. Described as 'antiqe imitation'.

If I was going to fake a coin I would choose a year that was rare. In my opinion the coin looks authentic with some sort of old cleaning. I bid 1 dollar with free shipping

The coin does look au with a cleaning and a resulting odd color.
When looking at a lot of Lincoln pennies for a certain year/mintmark, some just stand out as odd looking. While it could just be the lighting, I usually pick a coin that looks more natural. If the seller seems reputable, you could put in a low bid to see if the coin looks better in hand than in the auction photo. Some sellers just can't take a good natural photo.

Agree 58 details (cleaned), but wouldn't want to own it.
