This little gem of a dime is in a PCGS green-label holder, and a very nice holder at that -- usually by this point they are all scratched up.

1944-S Mercury dime. The coin is beautiful, and in hand, the color is a nice even light golden tone, the color of a light brush of butter or canola oil baked on top of fresh bread. This coin has one of the better reverses I've seen on a Mercury dime in terms of depth and luster.

How do you think PCGS graded her?

This picture approximates the color, but it's a bit more "gold" in hand.

darn Adam, I just finished dinner and your description made me hungry. lol. I'll bet she's a real looker. congrats!

I was going to say it's MS65 because it's an old green label, but I don't see how it could have graded less than 66.

Agree 66FSB. Only drawback is that apparent spot in front of the forehead.

PCGS MS 66 FB (Old green holder) -- some new pictures for you too that show how the color looks in different angles.

Reverse is semi-PL and the luster is so strong that it's nearly blinding to the camera even with no flash and only ambient lighting.
