Hi .
Please remember should you purchase anymore the crowns have no face value as such and not legal tender.
There are millions of them and can be picked up for about 50p or less.

You've done extremely well. The 1953 & 1960 still find buyers, maybe £1.50-2.00 each on a good day. Bank of England & Bill of rights will do OK and the 1996 football coins sell very well, especially if there is a big International competition going on. The other two crowns you'll just have to write off.

Hi Thanks for all the replies, the guy who sold me the coins mentioned that he had old 50p coins and that he would save them for me. I saw him today at another car boot and he sold me the following coins again at face value. Again I think I was just lucky. The Falkland lsland coin and the 1973 coin look like proof coins

He sold you them at face value? The last two are worth something, I don't have those. Numista has a rarity rating of 44, there were 100,000 produced normal and 100,000 proof or something like that.

I was told old crowns still are GBP 0.25 FV legal tender coins. Is that wrong?

Hi, Was out visiting relatives and noticed there was a indoor car boot sale near them. Managed to buy a tub of foreign coins for £2, the highlight were the coins from croatia and the channel Island coins
