Looking for opinions on this circulated coin. Both sides are worn but the obverse shows top to bottom striations or some type of damage I am unfamiliar with. Input is appreciated. Is this a gradeable coin?

Thank you, Bill

It looks to me like someone polished it at some point in its past.

Agree it's been polished. Not worth spending a grading fee on.

I have to agree ... This coins has been polished and has rim damaged.

It would not be worth the cost of having it graded.

Hearing that someone would even consider grading a coin in this sorry state of preservation really brings home the idea of the killing these grading services are making. Maybe we should be investing this PCGS stock....

Concur with damaged ... this would not certify problem free at a top tier TPG.
