Pics still not sharp enough for clear decision. The 4 looks promising, but the 2 is still too blurry.

Here is the correct location for the mint mark for the Denver reverse of the 1942/1-D

Got it - the MM on the original coin is too high and to the right - correct?

Actually looking at the 2 on the date without the protruding 1 below it was the sign I check first, then the 4, afterward the MM. The original image was clear enough.
