G'day all, was looking through a bunch of 20 cent pieces today, came across this one and I have honestly never seen anything like it before. I'm not sure if anyone has found anything similar and am wondering if anyone knows their rarity.

It's a 1981 20 cent with a decent impression of the reverse on the obverse! (hope that made sense, see photos below.)

The impression of the reverse showing on the obverse could be the result of a vise job.

hi yes they are on ebay a lot. you get one coin place it on the other and give it a good hit , and you get the same effect, not a mint error.

Vise job, shed job, you name it, all the same and all PMD (Post Mint Damage)

This one could be called a 'counterstruck' coin, but I doubt that it's worth anything more than 20c.

I found a 20c coin a while ago which was distorted around the base of the 2. Because it was dated 1966, I knew that someone had tried to create a fake "wavy".
