I'm not sure, but a couple might be clipped planchet? I have an oddity bucket too.

coinlover 1989 some yes others I found in two big lots of coins I purchased .

I think the worn one with the holes are probably the best. Never know what the story was behind those. Very possible some guy/kid had it on a chain around his neck as a birth coin and lost it or something.

Back when I was going through half dollars, I found lots of 40% halves, some 90%s (including Franklins & even some walkers), proof coins, 1987 coins from mint sets, a Booker T Washington half

BUT

In looking through more than $20,000 of half dollars, and saving every one that had a hole, I have less than $10 worth. Not the most valuable, surely, but definitely the rarest.

It's really refreshing to know there are still true collectors out there who collect what they like and are brave enough to post, without fear of the dunces who do not understand what collecting is all about. I can guarantee you there is some killjoy out there who would accuse you of trying to profit, or fool somebody. To heck with them.
