Today was a pretty crazy day for me, so I thought I would
take some quick pictures before I start putting todays coins
away.

Maybe I should have not went to three different shops.
And maybe I should not have skipped my medication for two days.

Funny thing is.. I did not start out with any plan to
buy any certain coins. But ended up filling two gold
coin holes.

A couple of these coins I will make their own post for opinions.

But I am curious if others ever have crazy days, where
it is hard to say no.

Wow ... where to start .. and how often will it change.

I have 74 Dansco albums.

If I had to say which were my main/favorite albums
U.S type (7070)
Canada type ( two album set)
Mexico Type - with gold page (four holes left to fill)
Morgan dollar - Two album set (four holes left to fill)
Dollar date set 1878 through 1999

All the presidents Lincoln, Jefferson, Roosevelt, Washington,
Kennedy and Ike - all complete (many are duplicate albums)

all the small dollar albums complete/up to date.
ASE album complete.

Also have a Intercept shield type set album (8 holes to fill)
Littleton roman emperor album (ancient coins)
(Edit had to change the roman album, it is Littleton album)

Capital coin holders
$2.50 Indian set (four empty holes)
Multiple 1950 - 1964 proof coin holders

Coin roll boxes
silver dime (50 rolls)
Silver quarter (10 roll box complete, working on second box)
Silver Half dollar roll box ( 24 rolls .. work in progress)
State Quarter roll boxes - Two 50 roll boxes
2009 quarter roll boxes _ Two 10 roll boxes
State park quarter roll boxes two 50 roll boxes

Silver coin treasure box - 157 oz. so far

That is off the top of my head .. but you get the idea.

There are several boxes I filled and put into storage
just to get out of the way ...

Oh yea .. did I mention I like Ike ...
25 roll box of Ikes ..
and could only guess on the blue/brown Ike's

Oh .. don't forget the GSA Morgans .. I like them too ...

I don't want others to get the wrong impression.

I like to post .. to share and give motivation.

I feel what I have is a example of what someone can
put away over 40 years.

I am not a high income person. I work part time at a coin
shop, so have opportunity to pick up coins each week.

I have not had a real job in 12 years ...

Just make sure your heirs know where all these coins are stashed. I get the impression you like silver. 74 Dansco albums is a lot of weight. I hope you don't have them in a safe that is open to view at your house. You know if the world manufacturing economy ever heats up the silver may be worth a lot due to fact almost every modern electronic device needs silver as a component or conductor. Gold is symbol of value but what essential use does it have?

They are essential to filling the empty holes in my collection.

I more than welcome your opinion ..

but to a collector ....

That sort of question might be like asking what essential
use does a Lincoln Cent have.

These three copper cents I paid over double what I paid
for the two gold coins I bought today ...

I know .. crazy ... gotta be a sickness

For those wondering about the small dollars ...

The more rolls I get filled .. the more I am liking my
mini monster box ... 25 roll box .. 25 coins per tube.

This is just for fun ..

I tend to be overly cautious about purchases --- probably to a fault. Maybe I am just indecisive. Many not.

Seriously, I pick a price and I really stick to it when I shopping for something that is on my 'list'. But then....I see something shiny, and new to me, and I have money with me, and it's all over.

Great purchases, GR58!

It's so rare for me to go into a proper bricks-and-mortar coin shop these days that I tend to have a 'crazy day' whenever I do!

I hope nobody finds out after the fact but gold is excellent against radiation.

Lots of great material properties.

Some weak propaganda too.

Nice coins GR.

Liking the Mexican gold.
