I've looked through a couple of bank boxes of Lincoln cents in the last few months. I set this aside to post and ask about. Is it a strike error of some sort or just an over polished die?
In god we trust is on a bubble if you will, and the I in "IN" is faint so is part of L in liberty. Thanks again for your time.

Its a slight MAD, and the IN and L might be the results of a Grease Filled Die

It is a worn die, ridge rings are just a form of it

Mike Diamond calls it a "Soft Die Error". If you check error-ref, it can be seen that there are other "Soft Die Errors",also.
