Uncle in North Carolina found this building a new house, dug it up in the back yard. Found near Charlotte N.C. can't identify any writting or numbers. Did some search but turned up empty. Anyone have an idea on where to go searching to find what this is?

Thanks

Also, heavier metal, maybe bronze/copper. About the size of a silver dollar. All the details he has shared so far. Sorry if too vague, new to this site

First, welcome to Crabolli. Second, this this is an interesting piece. It is hard to tell from your pics--is the guy on the obverse fishing, hunting, or carrying a stick?

I don't recognize it.

Can you describe what's on the token in the first picture? It sort of looks like a person with a rifle or something.

The reverse reminds me of south east asian medals I've seen. Can't pin it down yet.

First off thanks for the welcome, secondly I haven't seen the peice directly as of yet. So as to whether fishing or carrying a rifle, not sure. Will try to get a clearer image from him when I can.
Asian huh? Was thinking civil war commemorative for a specific battle group. But yeah, the hay seems more Asian now that I look at it. Was hoping the panther would be the stand out to identify this.
